Things that amuse me on long car trips.

Okay, so Brynn Paulin and I went to RomantiCon this past weekend and had a freaking blast - I'll post pictures later, but I had to share this first. I spotted this car on the Ohio Turnpike. And the following conversation was had...in our best movie announcer voices.

Me: Poet double-oh-three.
Brynn: He's got a license to rhyme.

I'm baaaaa-aaaaack

I have to say, I had an absolute blast at RomantiCon. There's something rejuvenating about hanging out with authors and readers...even though we kept ridiculous hours. Rooming with Kelly Kirch and Suzanne Graham was wild to say the least, but also a ton of fun.

I also finally got to meet Regina Carlysle, Tessie Bradford, Barbara Huffert, Koko Brown and Cheryl Dragon - five of the most awesome women on the planet. And I hung out with the amazing Desiree Holt, Anny Cook, Cindy Spencer Pape, M.A. Ellis, Tilly Greene, Isabelle Drake and of course, Kaenar Langford.

I also had my very first book signing. It was a little hairy for a while. My books didn't make it over from the warehouse with everyone else's, but the staff sent someone back there so I had them about an hour before the signing ended which was wonderful. I was so bummed when it looked like the signing wasn't going to happen, but EC came through! And...they all sold out in that last hour. It was so cool! However, I forgot to keep out a copy for myself...because I'm just that clever. But I should be getting my author copies soon.

I've been so crazy-busy, I don't think I've even posted the cover for the print book. Magic's Embrace has all three Torrid Tarot stories in it - I Put a Spell on You, Ronan's Grail and Mystic Circle. When my author copies arrive, I'll be running a contest to give away a copy, so check back for details.

Okay, back to work. I'm so far behind, it's not even funny.

Losing my mind

I'm running around like a psycho in need of sedation trying to get ready for RomantiCon...and I still have a ridiculous amount to do. I promise to take lots of pictures while I'm there and post them next week.

RomantiCon and Reviews!

During the second weekend of October, I'll be attending RomantiCon in Akron, Ohio. If any of you are going, I'd love to meet you. I'll be doing the book signing on Sunday, October 11th and I'll be wandering around the conference before then. If you hear someone laughing too loud...it's probably me. :)

Also, I have shiny new reviews for Handcuffs and Lies to share!

Brynn Paulin at the Grand Rapids Region Writers Group blog gave it 5 out of 5 plums! She said:

Can I say wow? Bronwyn Green has penned a steamy read that’s destined for my keeper shelf. I was reeled in by the opening and captivated for the rest of the book. Tori and Michael’s ‘reunion’ was spectacular…and hot. The scenes were well played out and everything followed logically—but not predictably. Bronwyn Green is a true story teller and I’m certainly anxious to read her next offering.

Vallerianna at Night Owl Reviews gave it 4.75 out of 5 hearts and a Reviewer Top Pick! She said:

Bronwyn Green is an amazing writer; she manages to tell a strong and compelling story in a very short package. I love how Tori is strong enough to stand up for herself and how Michael is willing to put his ego on the line when it counts. A great read and one that I will probably revisit.

And Mina at Howling Good Books gave me 4 out of 5 paw prints! She said:

This is a great short story which I thoroughly enjoyed. It starts off with a very technical scene in ER, which did worry me at first but I am SO glad I stuck with it. When Ms Green gets going, she really gets going. I loved the relationship between Tori and Michael, especially the fact that they had already been lovers but neither could remember. That's a twist I haven't seen before and it really worked. Ms. Green's style is fluid and easy to read and I found myself turning the pages and anticipating the next great one-liner. All in all, if you are looking for a quick, good read, pick this one up. I will definitely be looking for more from Bronwyn Green, that's for sure.

I'm just excited and had to share!
