Picture Pages from Ronan's Grail

As a prewriting exercise I basically scrapbook my story. It works really well for me on a lot of different levels. It solidifies the story in my head in the early stages. The pages help me get back into the story later in the writing process when I inevitably get pulled away. But mostly, I like to procrastinate and make pretty things.

So anyway, I thought I'd share the pretty things from Ronan's Grail. Sorry about the wonky spacing...still figuring out how to post more than one picture at time.)
I'm working on the pages for Solstice Seduction - they're pretty spiffy, if I do say so myself.

I found your scrapbooking fascinating. What a great idea for keeping the imagery alive in your head. I usually have pics taped or pinned to my walls all around me. It really does help. Thanks for sharing the pics. Ronan definitley caught my interest.

Wow - you really are organized and thoughtful when you write. I just fly by the seat of my pants and the only scraps I have are bits of paper I have written odd notes on at the traffic lights

I have been inspired by you to make picture pages of my own. I think it would be a fantastic tool for pre-writing, plus, I love to scrapbook.

I have tons of questions. Where do the images come from? Magazines? Internet? And do you assemble one page at a time, or work on many pages at once as you gather the images? Do you do the entire scrapbook at one time or does it evolve?

You have made me so curious!

Love your pages. Ronan is so pretty. Much better than on the book cover.

I'm afraid I would get involved in the scrapbooking and never get to the writing. Cool idea, though.

I'm with Anny. I love looking at them when other people do them, but I'd get sidetracked with pasting pretty pictures. And where did you get so many versions of the male model. He's yummy.
